Makijarvi is an unique estate in Southern Finland, only 45min drive from the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and 50min drive from Helsinki center. The estate is completely private, with it's own lake and it consist of 2 different villa buildings and separate meeting / event building. It is a perfect place to relax by the calm lake and its surrounding peaceful nature. The estate offers variety of activities all year round for the guests’ use such as a private beach, rowing boat, tennis court, basketball court, 2km long crosskart track and gym. Makijarvi is a perfect for vacations, events, and business meetings.
Makijarvi is beautiful lake in the province of Southern Finland covering an acreage of 100 ha of land. The 13 ha lake is surrounded by lush green forest area and beaches embracing unique sense of calmness and absolute tranquility. It is completely private lake so, it provides absolute privacy to the guests with all comforts. The lake is idyllic place to relax and get a break out of the city’s hustle and bustle.
The main villa is modern and spacious with an acreage of 504(m²). The villa has fully equipped kitchen, dining area and large living room. It consist of 5 bedrooms where three are double and two with single beds and 3 bathrooms. The villa is equipped with all modern amenities and it has been decorated with style.
The Villa is surrounded by large terrace area, which leads down by the lake, where you can find a cozy wooden sauna. Next to the the main villa you can find a Club House which is a modern and spacious meeting space equipped with living room, bar and two toilets. It is a perfect for business meetings and events.
The main villa can accommodate up to 8+2 guests.
The guest house, Lake House consist of 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area that is connected to a spacious living room with a fireplace. There is also one bedroom with double bed and bathroom. The ground floor has also a guest toilet. The first floor consist of two bedrooms and bathrooms, one with twin beds and another with double bed. Both bedrooms include an utility room and balcony.
There is a detached Sauna building next to the villa which comprises of sauna, shower room, wc and small kitchenette/living room and foldable bed for two people. Outside the house there is a large garden and barbeque area with fireplace and gas bbq grill where you can grill your dinner/lunch outdoor and have pleasant gatherings.
The guest house can accommodate up to 6+2 guests.
The 100ha estate provides great variety of activities to everyone’s taste. The private lake offers plenty of options to the visitors. The ones that like water activities they have an access for rowing boat which is great for fishing and rowing or alternatively you can swim in the lake which is known for as pure as “drinking water”.
The estate offers also a private tennis court, basketball court, ice circuit, jet-ski, gym and 2km long crosskart circuit. On top of that, the area is surrounded by rich and diverse nature where you can go for hiking or just walking around and you will be rewarded with a scenic view. In the fall time you can find great spots from the forest to pick mushrooms and berries.
