I would like to book one of your villas, what is the easiest way to do so?

You can make a reservation directly on our website by sending a booking inquiry. If you wish, you can also make a reservation by email or phone. You can easily compare accommodation options on our website. You can also send us an open inquiry and we will recommend suitable options for you. We can make a more accurate offer the more information you provide about your trip: dates, number of people, travel destination(s), accommodation budget, what kind of villa you are looking for or what else you need from a villa. This way we can offer you more options.

How do I pay my booking and when do I have to pay?

Payment can be made at all Finnish online banks or with Visa / Mastercard / Amex credit cards. The deposit payment for the villa must be paid at the time of booking, and the reservation becomes effective only after the deposit payment has been paid. The final payment must be paid no later than nine weeks before the start of the trip.

Who owns the villas? Are there other people living in the villa during our stay?

The owners are often local people. When you rent a villa or apartment through us, it is exclusively for your use. Some of the properties are semi-detached houses and in some villas, the owner or manager of the property may live in the same yard, in a separate building and may be able to help you with your questions during your vacation. However, these are always mentioned on the villa's description page.

Do we need to bring our own bed linen and towels?

Bed linen and bath towels are always included in the rental price. Exceptions are mentioned on the villa's description page. In some villas, pool towels are available for an additional fee.

How do I know what kind of additional costs may be added to the booking?

Compulsory and optional additional costs are told on our website on each villa’s description page. Possible additional costs may come from, for example, final cleaning, use of heating, or additional services you order, but these are always announced in advance in the villa’s information or at the latest when booking.

What is a tourist tax?

In most travel destinations, tourists are charged a tourist/city tax depending on the region. This is a type of environmental charge that is either included in the rental price of the villa or paid separately. On the villa's description page, it is stated if the tourist tax is paid on the spot. The amount of the tax varies from destination to destination (starting from around €1/day/person) and you can get more information from the keyholder upon check-in.

How do I find the exact address of the villa?

You will receive the exact address of the villa with the arrival instructions after paying the final payment. The exact location of the villa can also be requested before booking.

Where do we get the key to the villa?

When you arrive to the villa, you will be greeted by the owner or the person responsible for the villa, who will also guide you about the practical matters of the villa.

What time can we arrive to the villa?

The villa reservation usually starts at 4 pm on the day of arrival. The check-in time may vary per villa, and the time is always specified in the section "Additional information" on the villa's description page. You can inquire about the possibility of earlier check-in directly from the keyholder a couple of days before the trip at the earliest. It is good to note that there is usually no flexibility in the check-in time, especially during the summer season. If the previous tenants leave the villa on the day of your arrival, there must be time to clean and prepare the villa carefully before the start of your reservation.

Does the villa have a parking space?

The availability of parking spaces varies per villa. The parking space is mentioned in our villa description pages.

What do we do when we leave the villa? Leaving the keys?

At the end of the holiday, the condition of the villa is checked with the owner or the person responsible for the villa. If everything is in order in the villa, you will get the security deposit back. You will receive the security deposit paid in cash on the spot. The security deposit withheld from the credit card will be returned within about 1-2 weeks.

Is final cleaning compulsory?

Final cleaning is always compulsory and in some of our villas it is included in the rental price. In some of our villas, cleaning is charged and this is stated in the villa’s description page.

Are villas always rented for a week from Saturday to Saturday or are other rental periods possible?

During the high season between July and August, the practice in all our villas is generally Saturday-Saturday and 7-day rental. Outside of these months, some destinations have flexibility and you can inquire about different time periods when booking. We can also recommend of booking a hotel for 1-2 nights between the flight days and the villa rental days.
