Villa Melusin is a beautifully furnished villa in Provence, France. The house is large and wonderfully bright, with modern decoration chosen carefully in contrast with the old stones and beams. The villa has a private swimming pool in a lovely garden. The house accommodates a total of 14 guests and it is suitable for a bigger group of friends and families.
On the ground floor of the two-story villa, a modern and fully equipped kitchen is located in the center, surrounded by the large dining space and living room areas. There is a foosball table in the living room. Large windows open onto a sunny terrace, beautifully combining the interior and exterior spaces into one. There are six bedrooms on the villa and the first one is located on the ground floor. It is equipped with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There are four bedrooms on the first floor. Two of them with a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. One with a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a tub. There is also a dormitory with 4 single beds that is well suitable for kids or teenagers. The dormitory does not have its own bathroom. A separate guest house is located directly next to the main house and offers a sixth bedroom with private bathroom.
Outdoors, the garden spaces surround the property and the swimming pool area. Children can play safely here for hours, while adults enjoy the many comfortable seating areas.
The countryside surrounding this property is perhaps best known for its vineyards, lavender and cherry trees, as well as its famous hilltop villages. Guests here are just minutes from the famous villages of Roussillon, Gordes, Goult and Saint Saturnin, each with the very best restaurants and open air markets of the region. One of the options to arrive to the area of the villa would be flying into Paris and then taking the TGV down to Avignon which would put the drive to any of the houses at 1 hour maximum. The TGV from Paris to Avignon is about 2 hours but it is a beautiful ride and suitable for children as well.
