Villa Colle

Villa Colle is an old farmhouse that has been completely renovated by the owners. The villa is externally plastered and internally furnished with beautifully furniture. Villa Colle is the ideal accommodation for families. The villa, set on the Lucca hills has a beautiful position, due to the closeness to Ponte a Moriano and Lucca. The villa offers a spectacular view over the area of Lucca and the surrounding hills. Lucca can be easily reached by bus and also by train. Lucca is just ten kilometers away. The villa is situated along the way to Bagni di Lucca, with it\'s Spas, and close to the famous and suggestive \"Hevil\'s Bridge - Ponte del Diavolo\". Villa Colle can be a good starter point to make trips to the famous villas of Lucca, to Versilia for beach lovers and to the famous tourist cities of Tuscany such as Pisa with its Piazza dei Miracoli (13 km), Florence (78 km) or the marble quarries of Carrara and the Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Villa Colle is made up of three floors. The ground floor has the access on the East side and it opens on the dining area with sofa and fireplace, and a step leads to the kitchen. On this floor, there is also a bathroom with shower. A staircase of 17 steps leads to the first floor, accessible through a circular staircase next by the kitchen. The first floor has two accesses at the outdoors, one from the main entrance on West side and a staircase from the East side. On this floor there is a large living area with sofa and television, a study, the children area equipped with many toys and books and also a service bathroom. A staircase of 16 steps, leads to the second floor made up of the sleeping area. There are two double bedrooms and one single with the possibility to add another bed. All bedrooms have acces to terraces and a bathroom with bathtub. There is also a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower on this floor. The park of villa Colle measures about 1 hectare, only in some parts flat but completely fenced. The park is characterized by olive groves and plants that are typical for this area, as ornamental like oleander and fruit trees. It is possible to eat outside on the east side in front of the dining area. There is also a barbeque and a relaxing area with chairs and table in front of the main entrance of the house. The swimming pool, open from the first Saturday of May until the last Saturday of September, has a rectangular shape and measures 6x12m with a variable depth from 1.40 to 2.00 m. The entrance in the pool is through an internal roman staircase of 3 steps. It has chlorine depuration and is situated about 20 metres from the house. The area around the pool is equipped with sun lounges and sun beds. At guest disposal is also a bathroom with shower and a covered area equipped with table.
