Villa Vittorio is located in Pallanza Verbania on the shores of Lake Maggiore. This villa offers a truly unique vacation experience and you can enjoy your own peace and privacy. Formerly part of the domain of Villa San Remigio, this chapel has been transformed into a private holiday villa. The villa sleeps up to six guests. The main floor church area features a bright open living room with piano, stove, kitchen corner, bathroom with shower, and an upstairs open TV lounge with sofa. Following the spiral stairs down there is the sleeping area: bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, bedroom with double bed, bathroom with Turkish steam bath and overhead shower. There are also one bedroom with single bed and last but not least, a dreamlike suite (46m²) with large lake view windows featuring a double bed and bathroom with shower. Outside you’ll find a terrace and manicured lawn with great views over Lake Maggiore. The villa is surrounded by a beautiful botanical garden (5000m²) with meadows, ancient trees and a collection of flowers plus a vegetable garden, water lily pond, lakeside gazebo, and stone table with barbecue. A Finnish sauna completes this amazing getaway. There are two accesses to the water for a refreshing swim: on one side of the property a pebble beach and on the other side a stone deck, carved out of the rocks, with fine sand and sun loungers providing a great sunbathing spot. A buoy is available for mooring your boat. A cycling/ walking path passes by the house and runs along the lake until reaching the charming village centre of Pallanza less than 2 kilometres away. Please note: - Please note that the property is on a cliff and that the safety barriers were designed and built over a century ago with a standard of security very different from todays. All systems comply with the latest safety regulations for a private residence, but some architectural details, both indoor (stairs, railings) and outdoors (railings, stairs, access to the lake, pond, walking paths in the garden etc. .. ) can be dangerous, so we highly recommend that children and people with sight and mobility difficulties, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, be always under the watchful supervision of an adult. - The size of the beach depends a lot on the changing altitude of the water, it is not regularly cleaned up so debris will wash ashore. Swimming in the lake is possible but at your own risk.

"Over the last 15 years my family and I have rented vacation homes in many countries and in fact we own a water front vacation rental in Hawaii. Our experience, staying at this Lake Maggiore villa, was simply incredible. Each day we were prepared a breakfast out of this world, we had our own private beach, private and gated parking area with complete from road serene privacy, we dined under the stars directly over the water and danced on our completely private property lawn, our children played on the swing and slides endlessly on the expansive gardens and the owner and the staff including 7 days a week chef/home helper, groundsman and gardener made sure that we were happy. We made trips from the local ferry to other towns, took cable-cars to the top of mountains, visited vineyards and even drove up into the mountainous national park for a hike, kayaked from our beach, bicycled with child seat into the nearby town for gelato and looked from the master bedroom directly on the water at the moon the water at night. To end the day we sat in the spa with a modern italian indonesian look, it was a dream come true and we highly recommend this home for the vacation of a lifetime."

"1. What a wonderful villa. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. A truly magical setting. Visit the gardens opposite, swim in the lake and definitely visit the islands. 2. 10 out of 10 3. The region is one of the best I've been to in the whole of Italy. The islands are a must if you visit the area. 4. Not bad overall. Two small quibbles. I would have liked a quicker response to my original request and I would have liked more clarity on the deposit. I thought I needed a cash deposit of 1000 euro but in fact i wasn't asked for adeposit at all. I loved the holiday. Thank you."
