High on a hilltop, reached by a 2 km gravel road, there is Villa Bagni, beautifully restored house, ideally located in the area of Val d'Orcia of Southern Tuscany. Easy day trips to the small neighbouring towns including Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza and Radicofani and easy access to Siena, Florence, and Rome by car or the nearby train station. Situated within a completely peaceful environment, this lovingly restored seven-bedroom farmhouse has gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside plus beautiful interiors.
The house is set on 2 levels and a part of the house (2 bedrooms) have an access from the outside. Inside, traditional terracotta floors are brightened by whitewashed beamed ceilings. In the living room situated upstairs, there’s plenty of seating around the original fireplace. The rustic-meets-modern dining room has a fireplace and a large table in which can easily accomodate 14 persons. The kitchen is accessable leadind down 3 steps and is equipped with everything necessary for large meals. The house has plenty of space, indoors and outdoors. Both the living and dining room open to terraces, one of which is covered and has an outdoor veranda ideal for al fresco dining. A separate guest house can be used for small parties or cooking classes. For the kids and teenagers, there’s a selection of children’s games, books and comics, a ping-pong table and Wi-Fi access. There are 5 double bedrooms (of which one can be a twin as well) with en-suite bathrooms all with shower except for one which has a bathtub and a shower. The remaining two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower and is ideal for a family with children.
The private swimming pool is about 100 meters from the house, down a few steps. The entrance in the swimming pool is allowed trough 5 Roman steps. It has a chlorine depuration and it is heated (but only on request and for extra charge). The swimming pool is completely fenced, so very safe for children and it is equipped with sun beds and sun chairs.
