Villa Formosa

Villa Formosa is located in the district of Funchal, the capital of Madeira - an area with atmospheric old fortresses and old beautiful buildings. At the villa, you can enjoy your vacation by your own private swimming pool and enjoy the sea view from the villa. This three-bedroom villa accommodates six persons. When you enter the ground floor of the two-story villa, you will find a modern kitchen with easy access to the living room, where a dining table for six persons is close by. In addition to these, this floor has a separate dining room and bathroom. The kitchen, living room and dining room have direct access to the garden and pool. Stairs lead to the second floor of the villa, on this floor you will find the three bedrooms of the villa. All upstairs bedrooms are twin ensuite bedrooms and each has a balcony. One bedroom has a bigger balcony than the others. From the first floor, stairs lead to the garage, which serves as a lounge and games room; the room has a pool table, ping-pong table, punching bag, sofa and TV. In the garden of the villa there is a swimming pool with sun loungers, a dining area and a BBQ grill. From the villa, you can drive to the nearest shop and restaurant in a few minutes. Funchal's most popular seven-kilometer walking route from Funchal to Baia de Camara de Lobos is less than a kilometer away. The nearest sandy beach is about three kilometers away, and the center of Funchal is about a ten-minute drive away. If you have an adventurous soul, you could go paragliding and discover the whole area from above or take a boat trip to go whale and dolphin watching from the nearest marina in Calheta. Even if the seaside already sold Madeira to you, walking along a levada (canal) is something you should do. There is more than 3,000 km of irrigation canals that guide you through the most beautiful landscapes of the Island; in Rabaçal you will find some of the most popular levada walks in the Island.
